Rules 3rd. Edition of the PhotoMobile Contest



Today photography has changed 180 degrees. Since the great step from analogical to digital we have been involved in many changes that have made photography accessible to everyone. We don’t see telephones with cameras anymore, now they are practically cameras with built in telephones. The Blipoint team has the pleasure of introducing you to our new era of Mobile Photography contests. We invite you to participate with images that have been taken exclusively by mobile devices. The application that you used or the filter with which you decided to enhance the image are not important. We will be evaluating: content, emotion, editing, composition, and point of view. Let your creativity fly. It doesn’t matter if you are a professional or amateur photographer, and remember that you no longer have an excuse. If you don’t have a camera, it doesn’t matter. With your Smartphone you can take great photographs.

To participate it is necessary that you download our new (App Blipoint Android and iOS) and upload the images with which you will participate.

Prize:

• First prize: 300 euros cash to the author of the best image. * The prizes will be subject to deduction from the corresponding income tax, according to current legislation.

• Second prize: 5 winning images will be selected and displayed in the Maxo Gallery in Barcelona, Spain. There will be 4 editions of the PhotoMobile contest, and in each edition there will be 5 winning images, for a total of 20 images that will be displayed in the Maxo Gallery.

• Third prize: The authors of the 15 winning images, will have as prize being a Premium User for free one year. For more information regarding the premium gallery: http://blipoint.com/premiumInfo.html

• Fourth Prize: Publication of an eBook and printed book of all the winning images of the four editions Mobile Photo Contest. The book will be published during the first quarter of 2014.

Legitimization to take part:

• They can participate people major of 18 years old and people under 18 who are relying on express authorization of their parents or legal representatives, and once they are known and accepted by the participant the conditions of registration, protection of information, intellectual property, and all those other conditions that, with general character, should be additionally considered necessary for the participation of the users in Blipoint.

• For technical reasons, the contest participants must be registered in Blipoint and upload their images from their mobile devices.

• It is extremely important that at the time the images are uploaded from the mobile devices, the word (3photomobile) must appear among the key words. During the selection, the panel of judges will only accept the images that have this key word.

• Each user can participate with three (03) photographs taken with mobile devices and edited only with Android or iOS applications.

• Our team of specialists will be in charge of checking the technical information (EXIF) of each image selected by our panel of judges, with the aim of verifying that it has been taken with a mobile device. Otherwise, the image will be disqualified.

• If you are already registered in Blipoint, you simply have to download our application and upload your images.

• Beginning of the publication, the 3rd Edition of the PhotoMobile Contest 12/06/2013 y finaliza el día 12/09/2013.

• From 13/09/2013, until 28/09/2012, the process of evaluation by the qualified panel of judges will take place. Please remember that the panel of judges will only take into account the images that have the key word 3photomobile”.

• Images that have been awarded a prize or simply participated in previous Blipoint contests will not be accepted.

• With the sending of the images, you confirm automatically that you own the author’s copyright and that your images are free of rights to third persons.

• You will preserve the entire author’s copyright and other rights that you already possess in relation with the images that you publish in Blipoint. The authors of the official announcement herein authorize Punto y Línea 07 S.L., a company registered in Spain, legal representative of the blipoint web portal, the non-exclusive right to the reproduction, distribution, and public communication of the works of the finalists, in the following terms:

• The right of reproduction: for the sole purposes of, postcards, or posters, promotional press advertising the present official announcement, and publication in diverse intranet media, such as; social networks, within the blipoint web portal, and blogs related to photography and art events, with the sole purpose of making known and promoting the contest winners.

• The Blipoint web portal is obliged to respect the recognized moral right in favour of the authors in article 14 of the rewritten text of the intellectual property law.

• On the present bases, you accept that no commentary or other information that you provide to Blipoint will violate any personal right or any property right of any third one (including, without limitation, the author’s copyright and brand rights). Also, you accept that no commentary or other information that you provide to Blipoint will be slanderous, obscene, harassing, improper or illegal, and that you remain as the only responsible for the contents of any commentary or other information that you provide to Blipoint.

• Blipoint, as the organizer of this contest, saves itself the right to modify at any time its conditions, including the dates of the contest, even its whole cancellation, before the closing date of the contest, providing that there was a valid reason, and promising to notify with sufficient anticipation the new bases, conditions or, if necessary, the definitive cancellation.

• In the supposition that Blipoint was detecting that any participant of the contest is using any type of method or automated process, appellant or carrying out any type of fraudulent conduct that alters the normal functioning of the contest, Blipoint will be able to give up immediately from the contest the above mentioned participant (who will be sent an e-mail informing him or her about the immediate expulsion of the contest), leaving without effect the points accumulated up to this moment by the above mentioned participant.

• In the supposition that Blipoint was an object of any claim, judicial or extrajudicial, initiated by third part and based on possible infractions of the rights of intellectual property or image of those third part, derived from the utilization on the part of Blipoint of the images contributed by the participant, this one will assume all the expenses, costs and indemnifications that could stem from such judicial actions, answering in front of Blipoint or in front of that third ones, as it corresponds.

• In case the present promotion was remaining suspended by reasons of major force, Blipoint will remain exempted from any responsibility on the same one.

• To finalize the announcement, the winning image, along with the author’s profile, will be published in the contest’s records, so the said author should update his/her profile. It will also be promoted on the contests’ main page as well as on Blipoint’s blog.

• Competitors who fulfill the established conditions will receive an e-mail from Blipoint asking them receipt of Participation Request. They will be able to raise questions and doubts they have regarding the development of the contest to the same address: photo@blipoint.com.

Bases 3ª Edición Concurso PhotoMobile


Hoy en día la fotografía ha cambiado en 180 grados. Ya desde el gran paso de lo analógico a lo digital nos hemos visto envueltos en muchos cambios que ha hecho que la fotografía esté al alcance de todos. Ya no vemos teléfonos cámaras, prácticamente son cámaras con teléfono incorporado. El equipo de Blipoint tienes el placer de presentarles nuestra nueva etapa de Concursos de Fotografía Móvil. Te invitamos a participar con imágenes realizadas única y exclusivamente con dispositivos móviles, no importa que aplicación usaste, ni el filtro con el que decidiste realzar tu imagen, estaremos evaluando: contenido, emoción, edición, composición y el punto de vista. Pon a volar tu creatividad, no importa si eres fotógrafo profesional o aficionado y recuerda que ya no tienes excusa. Si no tienes cámara, no importa. Con tu Smartphone puedes hacer grandes fotografías.

Para participar es necesario que descargues nuestra nueva (App Blipoint Android y iOS) y subas las imágenes con las que participaras.

Premio:

• Primer premio: 300 euros en efectivo al autor de la mejor imagen. * El premio está sujeto a la retención del IRPF correspondiente, según la legislación vigente.

• Segundo premio: Serán seleccionadas 5 imágenes ganadoras, que serán expuestas en la galería Maxo de Barcelona – España. Se realizará 4 edición del concurso PhotoMobile y en cada edición habrá 5 imágenes ganadoras, con un total de 20 imágenes que estarán expuestas en la galería Maxo.

• Tercer premio: 10 ganadores recibirán como premio un (1) año gratis como usuarios premium. Para mayor información sobre la galeria premiun: http://blipoint.es/premiumInfo.html

• Cuarto premio: Publicación de un libro eBook e impreso de todas las imágenes ganadoras de las cuatro ediciones del Concurso Photo Mobile. El libro será publicado durante el primer trimestre del año 2014.

Legitimación para participar:

• Podrán participar todas aquellas personas, mayores de 18 años o aquellas que siendo menores de 18 años contarán con autorización expresa de sus padres o representante legal, y una vez conocidas y aceptadas por el participante las condiciones de registro, protección de datos, propiedad intelectual, y todas aquellas que con carácter general sean precisas adicionalmente para la participación de los usuarios en Blipoint.

• Por razones técnicas los participantes del concurso deberán estar registrados en Blipoint y subir sus imágenes desde sus dispositivos móviles.

• Si ya estás registrado en blipoint, solo debes descargar nuestra aplicación y subir tus imagenes.

• Es extremadamente importante que al momento de cargar las imágenes desde sus dispositivos moviles coloquen entre las palabras claves y en el título la palabra (3photomobile). Durante la selección, el jurado solo reconocerá las imagenes que tengan esta palabra clave.

• Cada usuario podrá participar con tres (03) fotografías realizadas con dispositivos móviles y editadas solo con aplicaciones del Android o iPhone.

• Nuestro equipo técnico se encargará de revisar los datos técnicos (EXIF) de cada imágen seleccionada por nuestro jurado, con el fin de verificar que ha sido realizada con un dispositivo móvil. En caso contrario la imagen sera descalificada.

• Inicio de publicación de la 3ª edición del concurso PhotoMobile 12/06/2013 y finaliza el día 12/09/2013.

• Desde el 13 al 28 de Septiembre 2013, inicia el proceso de evaluación del jurado calificado. Recuerden el jurado solo tomará en cuenta las imágenes que lleven la palabra clave “3photomobile”

• Cada concursante podrá publicar hasta un máximo de tres (3) imágenes.

• Para conocer la biografía del jurado del concurso PhotoMobile, puede visitar sus galerías dentro de Blipoint:







• No se aceptan imágenes que han sido premiadas en concursos anteriores ni aquellas que han participado en concursos anteriores de Blipoint.

• Publicando tu imagen, confirmas automáticamente que los derechos de autor son de tu pertenencia y que tus imágenes son libres de derechos a terceras personas.

• Conservarás todos los derechos de autor y demás derechos que ya poseas en relación con las imágenes que publiques en Blipoint. Al remitir, publicar o mostrar esos contenidos, los autores de la presente convocatoria autorizan a Punto y Línea 07 S.L, empresa registrada en España, representante legal del portal web blipoint, de forma no exclusiva, el ejercicio de reproducción, distribución y comunicación publica de las obras finalista, en los siguientes términos:

• El derecho de reproducción: a los solos efectos de realizar, tarjetas postales o poster, inserciones en prensa promocionales de la presente convocatoria y publicación en diversos medios difusores intranet, tales como; redes sociales, dentro del portal web de blipoint y blog relacionados con eventos de fotografía y arte, solo y únicamente con la finalidad de difundir y promocionar a los ganadores del concurso.

• El portal web Blipoint, se obliga a respetar el derecho moral reconocido a favor de los autores en el articulo 14 del texto refundido de la ley de propiedad intelectual.

• Con la presente aceptas que ningún comentario, publicación u otra información que proporciones a Blipoint violará cualquier derecho personal o de propiedad de cualquier tercero (incluyendo, sin limitación, los derechos de autor y derechos de marca). También aceptas que ningún comentario u otra información que proporciones a Blipoint será difamatorio, obsceno, acosador, abusivo o bien ilegal, y que permaneces como único responsable de los contenidos de cualquier comentario u otra información que proporciones a Blipoint.

• Blipoint, como organizador de este concurso, se reserva el derecho de modificar en cualquier momento las condiciones del mismo, incluidas las fechas del concurso, incluso su posible anulación, antes de la fecha de cierre del concurso, siempre que hubiera causa justificada, comprometiéndose a notificar con suficiente antelación las nuevas bases, condiciones o en su caso la anulación definitiva.

• En el supuesto que Blipoint detectara que cualquier participante del concurso está utilizando cualquier tipo de método o proceso automatizado, recurrente o llevando a cabo cualquier tipo de conducta fraudulenta que altere el normal funcionamiento del concurso, Blipoint podrá dar inmediatamente de baja del concurso a dicho participante (a quién le remitirá un correo electrónico informándole de su expulsión inmediata del concurso), dejando sin efecto los puntos acumulados hasta ese momento por dicho participante.

• En el supuesto de que Blipoint fuese objeto de cualquier reclamación, judicial o extrajudicial, iniciada por terceros y basada en posibles infracciones de los derechos de propiedad intelectual o de imagen de dichos terceros, derivada de la utilización por parte de Blipoint de las imágenes aportadas por el participante, éste asumirá cuantos gastos, costes e indemnizaciones que pudieran derivarse de tales acciones judiciales, respondiendo frente a Blipoint o frente a tales terceros, según corresponda.

• En el caso de que la presente promoción quedara suspendida por causas de fuerza mayor, Blipoint quedará eximida de cualquier responsabilidad sobre la misma.

• Los concursantes que cumplan las condiciones establecidas recibirán un correo electrónico de Blipoint acusando recibo de su solicitud de participación.
